Purpose of this contest
- FE (Francophone Expression) is a platform to give a creative literary opportunity to the young writers to express and write in French language.
- The purpose of this contest is to honour the young talents in writing in prose and in poetry in French language.
- The best writers shall get the opportunity to see their works published in the form of a e-collection of short stories and poems with a dedicated ISBN reference number.
Three Different Levels of Participation
If the candidate does not have DELF, then s.he has to provide its equivalent
In case a student does not possess the DELF certification, the French language teaching faculty of the academic institution/college/university has the authority to evaluate the student’s level of competence and authorise the student to participate in a certain category.
The teacher shall use the template provided by E&B for this purpose.

Two Categories of Expression
A: Short Story Writing (Fiction)
Entries can be submitted in one of the following sub-categories which may best represent the entry.
1) Action, 2) Adventure, 3) Comedy, 4) Crime/ Thriller, 5) Historical fiction, 6) Fantasy/ Mystery, 7) Political, 8) Romance, 9) Science fiction
B: Rhyming Poetry and Non-rhyming Poetry
NOTE:
When there is no recognizable or purposeful rhyme scheme or structure, free verse falls under non-rhyming poetry.
